Over the last couple of months, I've been falling behind schedule in informing you on all of the new releases coming to a DVD or BLU-RAY player near you. So, if I may, I would now like to catch up and give you a quick run down on the latest flicks starring Jackie Chan, Will Ferrell, Adrien Brody, Kevin Hart, Mark Wahlberg, John Cusack, Ice Cube, plus a couple of gangsters, a bunch of heroes, and a... coff-coff... orange monster truck. Two thousand years ago a mysterious legion of extremely fearsome and dedicated warriors gallantly galloped alongside the famous Silk Road. Dressed in exquisitely carved armor, this legion used weapons and battle formations that had never been seen in China before.
Eventually, it's revealed that these soldiers are a part of a Roman legion led by General Lucius (played by John Cusack), and they are marching east so they can protect Publius, the youngest son of Consul Crassus, from his vicious brother, Tiberius (played by Adrien Brody). Publicly it's very well known that Tiberius had assassinated his father and blinded his own brother, so Lucius quickly rescues Publius and heads east.
After becoming lost in the desert they arrive at Wild Geese Gate, where Lucius meets Huo An (played by Jackie Chan), the Commander of the Silk Road Protection Squad of the Western Region. What next? Action! Respect! Epic Battles! And the honor of protecting one's country.

'Heroes Reborn' picks up several years after the original series left off, and 12 months after a terrorist attack hit Odessa, propelling anyone with extraordinary powers into hiding. One of the main reasons for this is because a hoard of hard nosed vigilantes are hunting down the super-powered population as they seek retribution for their attack on Odessa, combined with those who have nefarious motives pulling their strings from afar.
