Starting on the 25th of February and ending on the 26th, Terror Con 2017 will be celebrating all of our most popular forms of fandom, ranging from horror, the paranormal, comic books, movies, music, and of course, you've got to dig those wrestlers! To illustrate this point, among the celebrity guests in attendance include such illustrious names as...
Malcolm McDowell: In a career that spans over fifty years, Malcolm is perhaps best known for the controversial roles of Alex DeLarge in Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange, Mick Travis in Lindsay Anderson's trilogy, O Lucky Man!, and the title character in Tinto Brass's Caligula. He is also known for his work in Cat People, Tank Girl, and The Artist, plus he had recurring roles in numerous television shows such as Entourage, Heroes, and The Mentalist.
Tyler Mane: Even though he started his career as a professional wrestler, Tyler has also been known to act, playing such mean looking characters as Sabretooth in X-Men and X-Men: The Official Game, Ajax in Troy, as well as Michael Myers in the remake of Halloween and its sequel, Halloween II.
While I'm on the subject of Halloween, you might like to know that this year Terror Con will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of its release. As most of you will know, this American horror movie franchise was predominately focused on the fictional character, Michael Myers, who was committed to a sanitarium as a child for the murder of his older sister, Judith. Fifteen years later, he escaped to stalk and kill the people of Haddonfield, Illinois, while being chased by his former psychiatrist, Doctor Sam Loomis. Michael's killings always occur on the holiday of Halloween, on which all the films primarily take place.
Now other celebrities in attendance will include Chris Sarandon and Ken Page (Nightmare Before Christmas); Seth Gilliam and Michael Cudlitz (The Walking Dead); Barbie Wilde and Simon Bamford (Hellraiser II); Steve Consalvez and Dustin Pari (Ghost Hunters); Adrienne Barbeau (Swamp Thing); Danny Lloyd (The Shining); Kevin Nash (Wrestling Legend); plus many more great names will be announced shortly via the website.
While you're at the con please don't forget to get involved with some of the awesome activities on offer, such as the After Party, the Scheduled Panels, or the Spirit Medium, and if you're a comic book fan, there will also be a number of top creators there too.
