Over the past fifty years, a large number of people living in the UK have loved playing bingo because they enjoy the fun, the excitement, and the overall camaraderie this 'game of chance' has on offer. Well, did you know that bingo is one of the few games that can be played regardless of age, status, or physical ability? Keeping in mind that it's a fairly simple game to play (on a technical level, at least), and more or less, the cost is generally low (pounds, not pence) and the rewards are generally high (ranging from £10 all the way to £10,000).
Having said that, though, bingo can also be a somewhat creative game too. Creative, in the way that it manages to bring people together (both online and offline) by presenting them with a series of very versatile numbers. Or in other words, bingo numbers, all of which are usually preceded with a slogan or rhyme that denotes a certain attribute they are commonly associated with. For instance, 'Unlucky for Some' is number 13, 'Thee and Me' is number 23, 'Droopy Drawers' is number 44, and so on, and so forth, etc, etc, etc, with each number having a phrase or title to call their own.
So, if you think about it, bingo numbers are somewhat similar to superheroes (or comic book characters in general), because they both have alter-egos and try to support the public. One, financially, and the other, physically, which in many ways, explains why my friends over at Barbados Bingo have come up with the following list of superhero bingo numbers. There are ten of them in total, and each one tries to justify their inclusion, either directly or on a narrative level. So go on, check them out, and tell me what you think in the comment section below. Or better yet, add your own list of superhero bingo numbers and give an explanation for each one.
Number One: The Last Son of Krypton
(Superman)
Number Two: The Dynamic Duo
(Batman and Robin)
Number Four: The Fantastic Four
(a.k.a. Marvel's First Family)
Number Five: The Fearsome Five
(Who've regularly gone up against The Teen Titans)
Number Six: The Sinister Six
(Otherwise known as Spider-Man's deadliest enemies)
Number Seven: The Seven Deadly Enemies Of Man
(Who've faced Shazam many times in the past)
Number Eight: Eight-Ball
(a.k.a. Jeff Hagees, a small-time hood who has plagued the Marvel Universe for years)
Number Nine: Catwoman
(Allegedly, she has nine lives)
Number Ten: Tenfingers
(A ruthless Daredevil villain with secret ties to The Hand)
In closing, I would like to thank Barbados Bingo for collaborating with me on this article, before encouraging you to check out their website and social media pages.
