What would you do to make people stand up and take notice of who you really are? I mean, would you be like a deranged diva and sing a selection of sultry songs to a swarm of sleepy seagulls? Or would you be more like my mate Amber, Amber Myers, who beat up a bunch of bad guys dressed as Batgirl? Want to know more? Then please check this out…
1) What are your own origins, Amber? I grew up in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, where I would often drive quads with my sisters and play outside until the sun went down. But over time, I gradually became more and more interested in the performing arts as I would frequently see and hear my Dad playing his music. So from that point onwards, my Mum helped me move to Los Angeles to pursue my dreams of becoming an actor.

2) What inspired you to create your Batgirl video? Well, for me, personally, inspiration can come in a variety of different forms, but in this case, I just wanted to see more females with my type of body on the silver screen. I'm also a big fan of Batgirl, too, as I can relate to her more than some of the other members of the Bat Family (who are also great).
3) In your own words, how would you describe this story? 'Batgirl: Year of the Birds' is the second episode in the series, and in my own words, I'd say it's a heartfelt drama that's fairly funny and likes to kick butt.
5) If you could get a celebrity – either living or dead – to promote your wares, who would you choose, and why would you want to choose this particular person? I would like to select the late, great, Heath Ledger because he was an amazing actor who made a huge impact on my life as well as the world of entertainment. May God bless him.
6) What have you learned about yourself through this endeavor? In retrospect, I'd say taking on this project has taught me that I can always achieve my dreams if I work hard enough and never, ever give up. It has also taught me to love myself and be a dedicated person, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to push past all of those long nights and stressful days.

4) What song would you say best represents this fan film? Well, even though many songs played a part in the development of this particular episode, the song that helped me write it was performed by Joan Jett... 'Bad Reputation'.

And on that note, I would like to thank Amber for telling us about her fan film, 'Batgirl: Year of the Birds', before encouraging you to check out her YouTube and Instagram pages.
