VAMPIRE CINEMA: THE FIRST ONE HUNDRED YEARS

Vampire Cinema: The First 100 Years - CoverOn the 31st of October, 2022, Reel Art Press is planning to release a new 272-page book that explores the numerous ways cinema has represented the mystical vampire over the last century, including homosexual vampires, Hollywood vampires, redneck vampires, comic book vampires, funny vampires, crazy vampires, and many other variations of the vampire seen on the silver screen. This 272-page hardcover book is called, 'Vampire Cinema: The First One Hundred Years', and it was written by the acclaimed cultural historian, Christopher Frayling. It also contains page upon page of movie stills, posters, photographs, and other pieces of related art, all of which depict the evolution of the cinematic vampire throughout the years.
