Synopsis: To find out what they can discover at a mysterious location marked on a map, three old friends named Polly, Moho, and Piter jump into a car and drive to this distant destination. But in doing so, all of their old personality quirks and conflicts suddenly arise. Plus, to make matters even worse, they also encounter a number of notable obstacles and delays during their travels, some involving alcohol, roadside motels, banjo-playing thugs, sensual tension, and of course, a monkey. About the author: Álvaro Ortiz is a cartoonist from Spain who studied graphic design at the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón and illustration at the Escola Massana. He's also written and illustrated several popular graphic novels in Spanish, such as 'Murderabilia' (2014), 'Rituales' (2015), and 'Viajes' (2016), as well as created a couple of webcomics during the COVID-19 pandemic. 'Ashes' is his first book in English, and in my opinion, it's definitely worth reading.
