Last week, I published an article showcasing a selection of images that depict some of the most popular superheroes from the Marvel Universe (click here to check that out). Each image was illustrated by the multi-award-winning artist, Alex Ross, who initially drew them for a mural that's located in Marvel's New York offices. Since then, he's illustrated more characters associated with Marvel. But this time, for a new series of variant covers featuring some of their villains. Thirteen of these covers can be seen below, along with a video starring Alex Ross talking about his work.
Some of the villains Alex has illustrated have been predominantly featured on a series of variant comic book covers published by Marvel in March 2023. The name and issue number for thirteen of these comics can be seen above. But if you'd like to find out more, then please feel free to check out the official website for either Marvel Comics or Alex Ross.
