Not so long ago, our pals over at best casino games decided to compile a list of fairly new films that are definitely worth a second look. Each film in their list seems pretty popular (see below), and to some extent, they come across as noteworthy additions to the silver screen. Please enjoy.

Denis Villeneuve's adaptation of Frank Herbert's seminal sci-fi novel is a long-awaited epic that boasts stunning visuals, a richly realized world, and an all-star cast. This includes Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Zendaya as Chani, and Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto Atreides.
The Batman (2022)
Matt Reeves's gritty crime thriller explores the psychology of the Dark Knight and showcases some of his most memorable villains. It stars Robert Pattinson as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, and Paul Dano as Riddler/Edward Nashton.
The French Dispatch (2021)
Wes Anderson's most recent film is a love letter to the written word that centers on a group of journalists working at a fictional newspaper, named 'Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun', who tackle a selection of stories that range from art theft to student uprisings. This film is set in a fictitious French city called Ennui-sur-Blasé and stars Benicio Del Toro as Moses Rosenthaler, Adrien Brody as Julian Cadazio, and Tilda Swinton as J.K.L. Berensen.
Don't Look Up (2021)
Adam McKay's satirical comedy follows a pair of astronomers who go on a media tour to warn the world about an impending asteroid impact. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Dr. Randall Mindy, Jennifer Lawrence as Kate Dibiasky, and Meryl Streep as President Orlean.
Licorice Pizza (2021)
Paul Thomas Anderson's latest film is a coming-of-age story that focuses on an unlikely romance between a young actor and a slightly older woman who both work in the entertainment industry. This story is set in the San Fernando Valley during the 1970s and stars Alana Haim as Alana Kane, Cooper Hoffman as Gary Valentine, and Bradley Cooper as Jon Peters.
