In October, 1985, DC Comics published the seventh issue of their twelve-part crossover maxiseries, 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'. The issue sports a very memorable cover illustrated by the artist, George Pérez, which depicts Superman holding the dead body of his lifeless cousin, Supergirl, firmly in his arms, while he's surrounded by many of his fellow heroes mourning her passing. In fact, this cover has become so memorable, that a number of artists have drawn similar covers that mirror its likeness. Here 👇, check out the following image gallery to see some of these covers.
