WORTHY CHAOS REDEMPTION - MY INTERVIEW WITH CORISSA GRANT

'Worthy Chaos Redemption' is an independent comic book series that stars two soulmates whose union escalates a preexisting conflict between Heaven and Hell. 1) Name three words that best describe who you are.   I'd say, passionate, loyal, and helpful.

2) What inspired you to create, 'Worthy Chaos Redemption'?   The video game, 'Resident Evil 2', because I became so obsessed with the characters and the story, I ended up discovering role-playing games, and for the next 15 years, roleplayed with the character, Claire Redfield. This helped me improve my writing skills and develop the plot for 'Worthy Chaos Redemption'.

3) In your own words, how would you describe this story?   In short, our story is kind of like a 'Romeo and Juliet' story set in Hell, as it follows two soulmates, Seraphina (a descendant of angels) and Draven (a descendant of demons), who are forced to fight for survival against their respective fathers. Both fathers seek the angelic weapon that created Seraphina, and if they obtain it, they can use it to tip the scales of the war between Heaven and Hell in their favor. Unfortunately, the weapon requires Seraphina's soul to activate it, and once it is, Seraphina will never be able to reincarnate or have an afterlife (therefore, Draven would be without her for all eternity). So, the two soulmates have to battle against demons, angels, hellhounds, ghosts, zombies, and many other monsters in order to strive and survive.

4) What song would you say best represents this series and why?   It's funny that you should ask this question as we've had two songs specially written for the series by Permissible Indulgence. Here 👇, listen to this one.

5) If you could get a celebrity - either living or dead - to promote your wares, who would you choose, and why would you want to choose this particular person?   I'd like to select the actor, Jensen Ackles, because I loved watching him on the TV show, 'Supernatural', which in turn had a big influence on 'Worthy Chaos Redemption'.

6) What's the one thing about this comic book series that might surprise people?   Well, to defy convention, the two main characters starring in our story are written by two completely different writers. I write the actual story and all of Seraphina's dialogue and thoughts, while my co-writer follows my story and writes all of Draven's dialogue and thoughts.
