COMEDIANS WHO'VE APPEARED IN A SUPERHERO COMIC BOOK PUBLISHED BY MARVEL COMICS

Sarah Silverman On the 8th of January, 2024, I published an article listing a selection of talk show hosts who've appeared in a comic book with Spider-Man (click here to check that out). In the aforementioned article, the introduction states how the American talk show host and comedian, David Letterman, refused to star in a film with Marvel's much-beloved webhead as he thought it wasn't worth his time. But what it fails to mention is that David did appear in a comic book with Marvel's well-known team of superheroes, the Avengers. Want to know more? Comedians starring in the comic book: The cast of the American late-night live sketch comedy show, 'Saturday Night Live', which in this case consists of the comedians, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Jane Curtin, Garrett Morris, Bill Murray, Laraine Newman, and Gilda Radner / Summary of the story: When Peter Parker takes his girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson, to see a live taping of the popular late-night comedy show, 'Saturday Night Live', little did he know that he would have to defend the cast from Silver Samurai and his gang of goons, while garbed as his alter ego, Spider-Man. But why? Why does he have to defend these comical comedians? Well, according to those in the know, it's because a member of the cast has something in their possession that the Silver Samurai wants... something shiny.

Comedian starring in the comic book: The American television host, comedian, writer, and producer, David Letterman, who's probably best known for hosting the late-night talk shows, 'Late Night with David Letterman' and the 'Late Show with David Letterman' / Summary of the story: To help Wonder Man with his acting career, several members of the Avengers, including Hawkeye, Mockingbird, Black Panther, Beast, and Black Widow, agree to accompany him on stage when he appears on David Letterman's talk show. But the problem is, not so long after the show begins, the Avengers are abruptly attacked by a number of deadly gadgets devised by the villain, Fabian Stankowicz, who brazenly boasts about them to David during their battle. Who wins? Who loses? Well, you'll have to tune in to find out.

But after a while, Deadpool discovers that gracking is extremely harmful to the environment and then acts accordingly. Bang!

Comedians starring in the comic book: The American magicians, entertainers, and comedians, Penn Jillette and Teller, who have performed together since the late 1970s and are known for combining elements of comedy and magic in their act / Summary of the story: After losing a bet, Deadpool and Penn both agree to swap partners for a whole week. This results in Spider-Man and Teller fighting a French mutant named Tarot, while the other two perform a magic show on stage in Las Vegas.
