In February, 1974, the Punisher made his comic book debut within the pages of the one hundred and twenty-ninth issue of 'The Amazing Spider-Man' comic book. The issue sports a very memorable cover illustrated by the artists, Gil Kane and John Romita, which depicts the Punisher shooting his gun at the titular superhero, Spider-Man, who's pictured inside an adjacent circular insert of the Punisher's gunsight. In fact, the aforementioned cover has become so memorable, that since its release, a number of other artists have drawn similar covers in order to match its veracity. What now follows is a selection of these covers. Please enjoy.
