In April, 1940, Robin the Boy Wonder made his comic book debut within the pages of the thirty-eighth issue of 'Detective Comics'. The issue sports a very memorable cover illustrated by the artists, Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson, which depicts Robin boldly jumping through a large paper-covered hoop that's proudly being held by his mentor, Batman. In fact, the aforementioned cover has become so memorable, that since its release, a number of other artists have drawn similar covers in order to match its veracity.
