In September, 2024, Reel Art Press released a 640-page hardback book featuring a vast collection of movie posters. Entitled, '1001 Movie Posters: Designs of the Times', this book not only includes an extensive gallery of vintage and contemporary movie posters from over 20 different countries, but in addition to this, it also includes anecdotes and information about the designers, photographers, and illustrators who worked on them, along with some relevant details for each poster. It was edited and curated by Tony Nourmand, written by Alison Elangasinghe, and comes with an introduction penned by the cultural historian, Sir Christopher Frayling. What now follows is a selection of movie posters featured in the aforementioned book. Please enjoy.
