Frank Frazetta Frank Frazetta was a multi-award-winning American artist who was born in Brooklyn, New York City, on the 9th of February, 1928, and then died in Fort Myers, Florida, on the 10th of May, 2010. He was 82 years old. Throughout his career, Frank was known for his illustrative style, especially his work depicting scenes based on science fiction and fantasy, as well as his illustrations and designs for a variety of different media, such as comic books (Creepy), record album covers (Molly Hatchet), paintings (Swords of Mars), and for the purposes of this article, film posters too.
